Cartwheels In The Rain
less than 2 weeks….
I am stressed. Freaking out. Planning out every moment of my days for the next two weeks.
As of yesterday, the show is 2 weeks away. I’ve got 3 dresses to finish, make something for myself..oh, and make accessories. And I’ve got less than two weeks to do it all. I will be going on very little sleep the next few weeks, I can already tell.
Sunday we had a photoshoot for the show. All 4 designers are donating one outfit to the silent auction, benefitting the Tammy Lynn Center. 100% of those proceeds go to benefitting the charity. So, someone gets a dress..and the charity gets some moula.
The photoshoot went amazing!! It really got all of us girls excited for the show. It was a definite “sit back and look what you ahve accomplished” moment.
We have all come a long way from our first show. It’s been a journey and a half. That’s what I need to remember when I’m up late for the next two weeks. And up early.
I think I need to apologize to my roommate and my boyfriend right now that I will be cranky..and tired…..I’m gonna be a bitch. They may just want to keep their distance. …or bring me food. Food = me being friendly.
I’m rambiling.
The exhaustion has already set in.
